For those of you who have gotten to know me, you know that I just love making it my business to search out, test, evaluate, and publish reviews on extra cash ideas and ways to make money from home, or as a home based operated business. So here is another review of one of the ways to make money programs that's going around, and my take on it.
You see, there's this guy by the name of Rob Toth that I have kept my eye on for about two years now. Now this is also where it starts to get interesting at. I saw Rob create an e-book just prior to the cash-strapped Christmas holiday season about the exact ways he made some quick extra cash(not just general knowledge he heard about somewhere) and released it for what I consider a donation price.
Do you think it generated a bit of buzz? Well yes, it certainly did, and that's what's happening with Rob's "My Quick Money Ideas That Worked".
So, knowing me, you know I just had to get it and check it out for myself. You see, I just don't believe all those glowing testamonials folks have pasted up on their sites that are probably written by their friends,, family, or maybe even by the promoters themselves.
Anyway, I got it and read it, so let me give you my pros and cons of "My Quick Money Ideas That Worked: What I Did To Pay Off A $1,200 Loan in 36 Hours, Finance A $2,700 Event In 3 Weeks and Earn $331 For 2 Hours of Work".
As I said before, this report is by Rob Toth, and it is the 4th installment from his "Dear Employee" brand. The first 3 I checked out were all pretty good read, so I just had to see what this 4th e-book he wrote had to offer.
Here are the three pitfalls(cons) of the e-book I want to mention.
1) There's a section in it of a lesson Rob wanted to point out from an email that was sent by a customer (who misunderstood one of his offers). Listen, I admit there is definately a lesson to be learned, but geez, it didn't have to take over six pages.
2) Secondly, even though there are a few gems offered, I don't feel this e-book offers that much to the experienced home based business person who is already making a full time living online. In all honesty though, I do have to say Rob gives a few tricks that he explained in his case studies which are still worth the investment in reading this... even for experienced online marketers. But again, I feel it's mostly for folks who haven't started, or just getting started with a home based business.
3) There's some cross promotion included which may be affiliate links to the resources he references in the case studies. But hey, that's expected. After all, this isn't a general "how to" and theories book. It's a look at what He actually did, and how he did it.
Okay, now let's look at the pros.
"My Quick Money Ideas That Worked" report is so cheap, that it's practically free. So, even if it doesn't really work out for you exactly like you expect... there isn't really a "money" investment that is lost.
Heck, even a free product could still cost you valuable time and effort if it's all pointless, right? However, I have to say this e-book is hardly pointless. The number one reason why this is absolutely worth the time investment is because it's not just another general theory book.
When you look in the mix of all of the e-books that are released every week on general concepts and "how to" technical books, it's really refreshing to get a very detailed look at four ideas that one marketer used to make quick extra cash for his own needs that can work for others also.
Mind you, we're not just talking ideas Rob wants to sell you on... but ideas and steps that he actually used for his own emergency cash needs. Plus, each idea is actually somewhat different from the other.
Rob talks of what "sparked" the idea, why he chose to act on it, what steps he took, and why the strategy was effective. He also provides screenshots where needed. Though I feel it could go into a bit more detail, it still doesn't leave much to the imagination... seeing as it flows through every point like a conversation.
Speaking of which, that's another pro about this e-book I'd like to make. The entire 71-page e-book reads as if you were sitting in a room with Rob and have him just walk you through a handful of his "quick money ideas that worked".
With the recession, and tough economic times we're facing, I think this will be even more welcomed by readers now during this "I need money" crunch.
The e-book provides useful emergency-cash information and it's practically free. However, more importantly, one of Rob Toth's first ideas was just last year for his "Christmas money" needs. He needed $1,200, wanted $1,800, but created over $2,100. Sounds good to me, how about you? That's just one of the four detailed examples.
So what's my recommendation on "My Quick Money Ideas That Worked"? I highly recommend grabbing yourself a copy Today!
By the way, I found out the reason he's selling it at a nearly free price is to generate buzz. Looks like Rob knows a thing or two about marketing. However, in my opinion, it really doesn't make sense for him to keep offering it at the current price. The last I checked, he was selling hundreds of copies a day.
Keeping fingers crossed, maybe he won't see this review, agree with me, and jack up the price on "My Quick Money Ideas That Worked" before you get your own personal copy of it. Even so, knowing what I know now, I'd still buy it at two or three times the price it is now.
In closing, I'd like to hear your own personal thoughts and reviews on it. Until next time, be well, and prosper.
