In facilities of worship, when a member becomes a politician, does the congregation of that facility dwindle, or does it grow? You already know the answer to that one, correct? Yes, it grows. There are many reasons for that growth also. However, a most notable, but hidden reason is merely because many people want to egotistically have bragging rights to the fact they attend the same facility as the politician.
When a worship facility's congregation, and attendance grows, so does its revenues as tithes, offerings, and donations. Again, here we see proof that combining religion and politics can be profitable. Do facilities of worship encourage its members and congregation to vote for certain politicians? Of course they do! Who benefits from such practice? The politicians and the worship facilities both benefit in many ways.
